Children On Atlantis

To: Major Lorne
From: Dr Elizabeth Weir
CC: Dr David Parrish, Dr Calvin Kavanagh
Subject: Children On Atlantis

After much consideration and with a few long talks with Stargate Command. I have come to the decision to allow Jazlyn to remain here under your care, provided you do indeed have someone, ideally an Athosian to keep her under supervision whilst you are on duty and away from dangerous areas of the City.

Congratulations Gentlemen.

Elizabeth Weir

Report

A few incursions by the wraith have been dealt with and repairs are mostly complete. The away teams have found a few promising trade partners with whom we could possibly deal with. The new little guest we've acquired is currently under the care of Major Lorne however Atlantis is really no place for her and we should look into possibly housing her with the Athosians.

Elizabeth sat at her desk looking up as a nervous and obviously distraught physiologist, in hand with a marine knocked on her door.
"Gentlemen come in, how can I help you?" She asked watching as Dr Moore glanced at he sergeant for help

Dr Weir's Office

Dr Weir saved the reports on the ZPM's ready to send to the SGC, the sun streaing through the large windows gracing the artifacts and historical finds scattered around the office.

Weir smiled pressing the chime on Teyla's door, dressed off duty in a dress, a soft chain around her neck. Dressed up she pressed the chime again waiting for an answer.

Mission Collision

Elizabeth looked over the mission reports for the day. She sighed at one of them, there was nothing for it, Lorne would have to escort Kavanagh to PXX 7366.

Elizabeth stared intently at her screen reports by her side, the tip of a touch screen pen in her mouth as she worked hard on the problem before her. The sun shifted through illluminating the dustmotes in the air, the bustle of the gateroom could be seen through her windows.

Apologies

~City Wide Email~

All regulations put into place from the 22nd of February are now rescinded. I'd like to apologise to anyone affected by the recent regulations I put into place. Unfortunately, I was not myself, but the matter has now been resolved thankfully.

Thank you all.

Dr. Weir.

On the subject of new regulations...

~~email to all Atlantis personel~~

I've been thinking a bit more about some of our recent difficulties, and, given that we all have to work closely together and get along, I think a few rules on fraternization are in order - yes, we did away with the American military rules, but those rules were there for a reason, and it would be best if we replaced them with something. Given that most of our recent interpersonal difficulties have been romantic in nature, I think it would be entirely appropriate to ban any romantic encounters outside of marriage - to make this fair and feasable, homosexual marriage and polygamy are legal in Atlantis as of this email.

Also, as a general safety concern, all doors are to be left unlocked except in case of emergency.

-Dr. Weir

~~email to Teyla~~

Teyla, sweetie, will you marry me?

Love,
Elizabeth

Catching up on a few bits of business...

The device had started glowing while Jonny was in her office the other day, but she'd left when he had and hadn't noticed. Now, when she sat down, she noticed something out of the corner of her eye, but by the time she looked, it had faded to its usual appearance.

~~Email to all Atlantis personel~~

There will be a few new regulations, effective immediately. Due to our dangerous position in this galaxy, it really is necessary that I know where everyone is at all times; I should have implemented this sooner, and I apologize for being so careless with your safety. Everyone will be required to fill out a daily form detailing their projected schedule for the day; any changes to this schedule must be cleared through me beforehand. I don't expect there will be any objections, however, my office is always open. Thank you.

-Dr. Weir

Elizabeth sank down into her office chair, grateful that she no longer had to keep her expression calm - although the knowledge that she could show her frustration and anger at the whole situation helped it to drain away, a little, so she just looked tired.

"Why do people do this sort of thing to each other?" she asked the empty room. "Why can't we all just get along?"
